LINCOLN - Matthew "Bubba" Lawrence, 29, of Lincoln died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, in Silva, Mo.
He was born July 28, 1978, in Lincoln, the son of the late Ralph Edward Lawrence III and Suella Irene Sorrill Lawrence Taylor. He married Brea Young on April 14, 2007, in Lincoln.
Mr. Lawrence was a laborer at Eaton Corp. in Lincoln.
Surviving are his wife, Brea Young Lawrence of Lincoln; stepdaughter, Baylee Ferol Young of Lincoln; mother, Suella Lawrence Tucker of Lincoln; four brothers, Shawn Lawrence (Amy) of Beason, Chad Lawrence of Lincoln, Timothy Lawrence (Sean) of New Orleans and Jason Lawrence of Lincoln; sister, Amanda Lawrence (Dennis) of Lincoln; and nine nieces and nephews.
His grandparents and father preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at Holland, Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Julie Azbell officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at Holland, Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Matthew Lawrence Memorial Fund at State Bank of Lincoln and will also be accepted at the funeral home.
