Michael Pletscher was a cousin of my father John Armstrong. Mike and his wife Louise spent many fun filled weekends with Jean and John Armstrong. The men would golf and the women would shop! I enjoyed Mike's sense of humor and zest for life. He was a fine representative of "the greatest generation." I am so sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to hear that your father passed away. He had a full life. I stopped by the house a few years ago to see him and the old neighborhood. We had a good time talking about the old days in Glen Aire.
Your mom and dad were great neighbors and friends to my parents.

Mike, I'm so sorry. The last of the old neighborhood is gone. Before I moved from Illinois, I went by to see him. When he came to the door with that big smile, and said "tudan" I laughed. The days of "mort", and "lubert" are memories now, but oh what memories.
