Petersburg has lost one great man. He left his mark and has now gone to be with the Lord. He won many battles before he was called home. May his loved ones find comfort knowing he is at peace and they will be together again. The family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember seeing Perry and Jean at many softball games when Keith and I played on the same team. Then serving with Perry on the city council, we had many talks after the meetings leaning against his pickup truck. We didn't always vote the same way but we had good talks about life and I enjoyed listening to his stories. I considered Perry a friend and will miss seeing him from time to time. My wife and I send our best wishes and prayers to Jean and the family.
