Richard Skeeters Obituary
Springfield, IL—Richard Michael Skeeters, 64, passed away on September 22, 2018. He was born on November 18, 1953.
He is survived by wife, Linda; children, Todd (Amy), Jamie (Charles), Brian (Melodey) and Jeff; Nine grandchildren, Sydney, Sophia, Sammy, Alec, Logan, Krista, Addison, Wavey, Layla; Sister, Vicki (Dave) Wilson; two nephews, Scott and Rich Scheib.
Richard was proceeded in death by parents Charlie and Laura Skeeters; sisters Susie Woodward, Donna Skeeters; and grandson Kaleb Duncan.
Richard graduated from Southeast High in 1972. He retired from Bunn-O-Matic. Richard was an avid Bears and Cubs fan. He was a family man and loved to make people laugh.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Southern View Community Center, 3410 S. 5th St, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 12-2pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Richard in c/o of Linda Skeeters.
