Robert L. "Bob" Gaultney
KENNEY - Robert L. "Bob" Gaultney, 83, Kenney, IL, passed away at 8:10 AM Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 at his residence in Kenney. Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with David Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, IL with Military Honors. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 – 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Victory Junction Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
Bob was born on July 4, 1929 in Alton, IL, the son of John B and Edna Dunn Gaultney. He married Phyllis E. Huffman on Dec. 15, 1951 in Springfield, IL.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis F. Gaultney of Kenney, IL; 2 children, Dr. Dianna Gaultney of Cobden, IL and Kevin (Dorothy) Gaultney of Greensburg, IN; granddaughter, Kristina (Charles) Whitlock of Greensburg, IN and 2 great-grandsons, Brandon LeCkrone and Shelby Whitlock both of Greensburg, IN. Also surviving are 1 sister, Dorene Smith of Clinton, IL and 1 brother, Richard Gaultney of Kenney, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Bob was a US Armey veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of #1051 Mill Wrights Local Union in Lincoln, IL.
Bob enjoyed camping, fishing and restoring antiques.
