Rodney Gresham Obituary
Springfield, IL—Springfield, IL-Rodney Stuart Gresham, 52, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Springfield, August 12, 1966 to Stuart and Patricia (Stuber) Gersham. He married Elizabeth Eastep on August 12, 2012 and she preceded him in death.
Rodney is survived by his parents, his father-in-law, Les Eastep, Uncle, Danny (Vicky) Stuber, Aunt, Janet Gresham, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his uncle, Gary Gresham and a cousin Jon Stuber.
Rodney graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. He worked at the State of Illinois as a Systems Analyst since 1989.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lodge #500 AF&AM, Springfield Consistory, and the Ansar Shrine. He liked to golf and was an avid fan of Bradley University Basketball, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the St. Louis Blues.
Visitation and Service: The Gresham family will greet family and friends at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield, IL, Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 from 10 am until the time of a funeral service at 12 noon. Rev. Roger Grimmett will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.

Dear Stu and Pat,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of your son's passing. Please accept my sincere sympathies.
I had the pleasure of meeting Rodney once or twice when he was a teenager. He was a fine young man then and I'm sure he grew up to be a fitting tribute to both of you.
May God bless you and Rodney now and forever. Rest In Peace and Godspeed Rodney.
