SPRINGFIELD, IL – Steve L. Wilson, 49, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center.
Surviving are his father, Lenard; mother Bonnie; sister, Pam and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life: Noon - 4 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Lake Springfield Tavern.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I worked at Famous Recipe with him. He was always kind and had a smile. I didn't stay in touch but I would think of him when I would pass by LTS. May the memories of him keep you comforted.

Frank and I will miss Steve. He always had a smile and a nice word for us when we came to LST on Friday nights for walleye. His fish cooking was the best in Springfield.

Steve was a wonderful person who I will miss going to see from time to time. I worked with him for several years at Lee's Famous Recipe. He will be missed. I'm very sad to hear of his passing. Sending prayers of strength to his entire family. Kim Cody-Draper

I was very sad to learn of Steve's passing. I have many great memories with him from our LST days! My thoughts and prayers are with you Bonnie and Lenard. He was one of a kind a an all around heck of a nice guy! He will be missed by many!
