Walt was a co-worker of mine at the Illinois EPA. I've worked with many people from all walks of life, but Walt was truly one of the "good guys".
He was one of the best. He never shied away from hard work and was ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
He will remain in my thoughts for years to come. Good-bye old friend. You definitely earned your wings.

Elsie and all the Family, I know how hard it is to lose your husband, father, grandfather, and best friend. Just remember he is in a better place now and probably out there bowling up a storm. Remember all those wonderful times you had with Wally and the tears will turn to laughter soon.

Wally & Family,
As I read of your dads passing all the memories of the old days of Sacred Heart grade school and little league baseball came to mind. From the games to the taverns afterword to the trips to the Cardinals games where your mom got the foul ball are all great memories from what seems like a lifetime ago but will always remembered as some of the best times our families shared together. May God be with you all.
