Lehman Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Lehman was such a great guy. He was so proud of his family, giving updates on the kids whenever I'd see him when I was in town. He'd always ask about my folks and tell me how great they were and how much fun he had working Ursuline's chicken dinner with my Dad. Shelly, I know we haven't seen each other in so long, but know that I'm thinking of you and your family and you're in my prayers. I'm sorry I couldn't get home for the services.I will always remember your dad with that great smile and twinkle in his eyes. May God be with you all, Karen (Stapleton) Maloney

To Barb and family. We missed Bill last Sunday at 7:30 a.m. Mass. He always sat in the last pew and Ellen and I sat next to him. Sometimes our grandkids would join us and end up climbing in and out of the pew and over Bill. He never seemed to mind, just that great smile. We will miss seeing him each Sunday. A great guy!

Dear Mrs. Lehman, Pam, Vickie, Shelly & Jeff:

I was so sorry to hear from both Timmy Lyons and John Eggers that Mr. Lehman had passed.

It has been too long since Ive darkened the door at Spring St, but my memories of the great times and many laughs will never fade away. I am sorry this is the occasion to be reaquainted but I wish you all the best and am keeping you in my thoughts very often these days.

Mr. Lehman was an old school throwback, a mans man. He was the kind of guy who could do, fix or build anything. He was also quick with a joke and the first to laugh if you had a good one to tell.

Godspeed Mr. Lehman, you will be forever missed.

June 14, 2007

Dear Barb and Family,
Gene and I are really sad to hear of Bill's death. I was scrolling through the obituaries on the internet, and I wanted to cover a several day period because I hadn't looked for a while. I came across a Burke and thought of you immediately. As I scrolled down, I came across Bill's obituary. I was shocked! I couldn't believe it.
Please accept our sincere sympathy and love. What a great guy. I know he will be dearly missed by his family and his buddies. We hope to see you the next time we are in Springfield. We would certainly be there for you if we were in town. But know we are there in spirit.

Our love and prayers,
Gene and Casey(Conway) Hagerman

Dear Aunt Bobbie, Pam, Vickie, Shelly & Jeff:

I am very sorry for your loss. Uncle Bill was a great man. I will never forget the times when we got a chance to visit with one another, either in Illinois or in Michigan. We would discuss life over a nice cold refreshment. He always was proud of his family and would fill me in on all their acomplishments. He was very proud of all of you. Uncle Bill will be deeply missed. As I type this entry with tears in my eyes, I realize that he is suffering no more. God does things for a reason, even though sometimes we don't understand why. But obviously, God needed help and He couldn't have selected a better person to assist Him. I'm sure Uncle Bill will be watching over all of you. We miss you and pray for you during your time of sorrow.

Love Dave, Becky, Sarah, Sophia & Olivia Iocca

Dear Barb , Pam Vickie Shelly & DR Jeff

Bill was a best friend of my dad and the whole lehman family is like family to us . and we want you to know we are thinking of you .

Through the years we have had many many great times together

One of my best memories is when Bill had the big surprise party for barb on the hill . we have had many great times together with the Lehman family .

Bill was always there for mom and dad , he was the first one to help after the attic fire durring a lightning storm a few years ago ..he made sure that the electric was back on before anyone else..... even the insurance co couldn't help more than Bill did , and our family will never forget that .

In our thought's

take care
