Charlie Morgan Obituary

Sedro Woolley - Charlie Joy Morgan, 69, of Sedro Woolley, passed away at Harborview Medical Center on the morning of December 15, 2023.

This will be short, sweet and to the point, just like she was.

Charlie is survived by her two children, son Venancio ("Ben") Zuniga Jr. of Sedro Woolley and daughter Kitty Zuniga of Vancouver, as well as Kitty's good friend Kayla Blue of Lynden, who Charlie considered a second daughter. She is also survived by her mother Joan Jackson of Burlington, brother Dwain Scott of Tyrone, Georgia, and sister Misty Scott of Everett. She leaves behind her two beloved dogs Olive and Belle.

She was a proud mother and loved by all who knew her. When she was younger, she was an avid softball player and enjoyed league bowling. Later in life, she was a woman who rightfully loved her coffee, her rock collection, country music tapes from the early years, her four legged kids (cats/dogs), and a good book. She had a lifelong love for animals of all shapes and sizes and would share what time she could visiting shelters. We are grateful everyday to have had her in our lives and to have experienced her warmth. We know that she would not have wanted her passing to bring sadness, but rather a reminder to cherish those you love and spread kindness everywhere you go.

No service will be held out of respect for Charlie's wishes. In lieu of flowers if you wish you can make a donation to your local Humane Society
