Deborah Ryan Obituary

Sedro Woolley - Deborah "Debbie" Lee (Wood) Ryan passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 65. Debbie was born on April 24, 1960, to Bill Richard Wood Sr. and Shirley Ann Wood. Debbie was a resilient woman who faced her share of life's challenges but always held her family close at heart. When her children were young, she worked hard to provide for and care for them daily to the best of her ability, creating a foundation of love that carried through the years. As her kids grew, she continued to show her deep affection in quiet ways-through a phone call to check in, a shared memory, or just being there when it mattered.

Debbie had a strong work ethic and deeply cared for everyone in her life, from close family to old friends. She was the type of person who was content with a simple life and never asked for much-she appreciated what she had and made the most of it. Debbie found her greatest happiness in the rhythms of everyday life: tending to her beloved garden, caring for her horses, and relaxing with her cat by her side.

Debbie is survived by her longtime companion, Rick Hodgin; her children, Nick Ryan (spouse Ashley) and Jessica Reggiatore; her grandchildren, Kaleah Westergard, Richard Oas III, Hudson Ryan, Carter Ryan, Boaz Ryan, Ezra Ryan, and Gabriel Ryan; and her brother, Bill "Billy" Wood Jr. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Shirley Wood; her son, Richard Oas Jr.; and her brother, Donald Pearson.

Debbie will be remembered for the love she poured into her family. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
