Donna Matthews Obituary

Sedro-Woolley - Donna Kay Matthews (Forst), 81, of Sedro-Woolley, WA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of July 22, 2025.

Donna was born on April 7, 1944, in Burlington, WA, to Louise and Ernest "Frosty" Forst. She married Ben Edward Matthews on February 11, 1971. Donna worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling in their RV and sewing.

She is survived by her husband, Ben; sons Jeff (Dana) and Jerry (Michelle); and five grandchildren: Laura, Kelsey, Patrick, Krystyka, and Mitchell. She is also survived by her brother Stuart.

A small celebration of life for family and close friends will be announced at a later date.
