EMILY WAIDELICH Obituary

Emily Irene Waidelich (Brostrom) of Chehalis, WA, passed on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the age of 81.

Emily was born in Napavine, WA on July 27, 1933. She attended school at Clear Lake and graduated from Sedro Woolley High School.

Emily married her high school sweetheart Louis Waidelich on June 16, 1951, and as an only child was excited to start her family immediately. As a young woman, she enjoyed fishing, bowling, and dancing. She loved playing bingo, watching NASCAR, and supporting her hometown teams the Mariners and Seahawks. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Emily is survived by her children; Vicky and Chuck Weyhing, of Camano Island, Kristi and Nate Maule of Silverdale, Sheri and Jim Sandifer of Winlock, Kevin Waidelich of Spanaway, and Tami & Pat Merriman of Eatonville, 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Waidelich, her parents Mattie Pearson and Fred Brostrom, and grandson Greg Buchanan.

The family will have a private interment at the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Contributions or memorials may be made to the Sedro Woolley High School Alumni Association in Emily's name.
