GLEN CASSIDY Obituary

After battling cancer for four years, Glen passed away on July 25th with loved ones at his side.

He leaves behind family who will miss him everyday. His son Glen Cassidy Jr. daughter-in-law Cher Cassidy, granddaughter Jordan Cassidy; his fiancé Carol Kelley and her son David Marcum; sisters Carol Dawson, Ruby Horton and her husband Dan Horton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Glen grew up in Skagit Valley where he enjoyed many activities such as hunting, fishing, gold panning, gardening, woodworking and riding his Harley. Anyone who had the privilege to share in these activities felt his passion for life and the joy of teaching others. He was a good man and left us far to soon.

A private service will be held in September to take him to the mountians he loved, just as he wished.

Arrangements are under the care of Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Glen, my step-father.
Although we didn't always see eye-to-eye, we had some good times, whether it was turning a wrench on my latest hotrod in the driveway or turning the soil in our garden on Samish Island.
See ya on the other side, bud.
