JANET BARTEE Obituary

Janet L. Bartee passed away April 28, 2017 at 96. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Roy and Janet Bartee.

She moved often, but felt most at home on her beloved old Mount Vernon farm, overlooking the Nookchamps Valley with swans flying overhead.

Art and creativity were a driving force in a life that had many interests including children's drama.

Janet was a caring person and wonderful mother who looked for the beauty in life.

She was predeceased by John B. Hunter, her son, and John W. Hunter, a spouse for many years.

Janet is survived by her daughters Fawn (Bob) Chichester, Rebecca (Wayne) Dorcas; grandchildren Carrie Hartz, Shawn Hartz, Scott (Doe) Hartz, Fara Hunter; grandchildren Phillip Denney, Trent (Sarah) Denney, Blair Hartz and Jacob Bicknell Jr.

The family is grateful to staff of The Bellingham at Orchard who supported her in this last journey.

Donations are suggested to the Bellingham Children's Theatre or your local children's theater organization.
