Jerry Altringer Obituary

Burlington - Jerry Franklin Altringer a long time resident of Skagit County passed away July 10, 2025.

During his career in the automotive industry Jerry earned the respect of all who knew him. In addition to his professional career Jerry proudly served his country in the Marine Corp.

Jerry was a passionate outdoorsman, with hobbies that ranged from camping and fishing to snowmobiling and crabbing. In Jerry's younger years he was an avid endurance dirt bike racer. He also enjoyed sitting around a campfire with a cold beverage in his hand chatting it up with friends and family. Of course, many had special nicknames for Jerry be it greasy, wop, unc or whatever came to mind.

Jerry is survived by his wife Cheryl, children Jimmy, Andy, Jeff, and Tracy, Debbie and stepson John Aumiller and spouses. He was a proud grandfather, great grandfather and uncle to many, with a large extended family that includes nieces, nephews and countless friends. Jerry's presence in the lives of those who loved him will never be forgotten.

He is preceded in death by his son Daniel Robert Altringer.

Jerry told me "hey babe this is our last rodeo, remember what I said" so in honor of Jerry's wishes there will be no service. The family would like you to raise a glass and say farewell to an unforgettable and amazing man.

Fly with the angels babe, until we meet again.
