Joan Drake Obituary

La Conner - Joan Musselman Drake, beloved wife, Mother and grandmother, died peacefully on June 17, 2025. Joan lived in La Conner for 55 of her 90 years, where she owned and operated the local grocery store, Joann's Mercantile. Joan brought joy, laughter and light to everyone around her. She leaves behind her Husband, Donald Drake, four children, Joni Zimmerman (Bob), Cindy Nelson (Tim), Randy Young (Kirsten), and Susan Musselman (Kirk Campbell), 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. My mom loved Joan. Everyone did. She was an intricate part of LaConner in 70s. She was So pretty.tiny and tough. Blessings and Love to her family.
