Kevin Kelly Obituary

Littleton, CO - Kevin John Kelly, formerly of Concrete, WA passed away at his home in Littleton, CO with his family by his side. Kevin was born in Wolf Point, Montana. The Kelly family left Wolf Point in 1957 and lived in several towns: Cascade, ID, Hunters, WA, Garfield, WA, and Winthrop, WA, before moving to Concrete, WA in the summer of 1966 where his dad was hired as a high school teacher.

Kevin played all 3 sports: football, basketball and baseball. He was a very good athlete and also applied himself to studies and was valedictorian of his senior class.

After graduation in 1973, he enrolled at SVC in Mount Vernon, WA for one year, played on the Cardinal baseball team, then transferred to WWSC in Bellingham and played safety on the varsity football team. He got a degree in Mass Media Communications in 1979. He worked for his brother Mike doing concrete work, and then his brother Conn building houses in Billings, MT.

Kevin moved to Denver in 1981 to pursue work that was more in line with his degree. He met Linda Colling in 1983. They were married July 9, 1991. God blessed them with two children that were precious to Kevin and still are to Linda.

Kevin got a job as a delivery guy for an exercise equipment company in 1983. He worked his way up to top salesman, then became General Manager. He started his own exercise equipment business in 1993 called KOS Fitness. He borrowed the name KOS, as did his brother Conn, from their grandpa Kelly, who had a hardware store in Wolf Point, called KOS (Kelly's Old Store). Grandpa Kelly died before any of the Kelly kids were born.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Cathy Kelly, older sister Marcia, and younger brother Jeff.

Kevin is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Madeline and husband Jake of Las Vegas, and son Joe, by his two older brothers Conn and Mike of Billings, MT, younger brother Kris of Concrete, WA and by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A celebration of life was held July 12th at the Kelly home in Littleton, CO. A short message to the readers: Life is short. Death is sure. Sin the curse. Christ the cure.

Kevin...When we all join you in Heaven, I just know we´ll finally beat Mike & Denny in a game of baseball. Until then, I´ll continue to pray for all of us. We are so blessed to know you as a friend. Paul Bianchini and Family
