MARK KELLY Obituary

1958 - 2016

A lifelong Skagit Valley resident, Mark Steven Kelly, passed away on October 14, 2016.

Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and tinkering in his shop, along with spending time with his family and friends.

A graduate of Sedro- Woolley High School, Mark was working for the Washington State Department of Transportation when he had to retire due to illness. He also worked for several local companies as a welder and heavy equipment operator, and spent several years as a volunteer fireman for the Clear Lake Fire Department.

He is survived by his five children, Chris and Ken Kelly of Bellingham, Phillip and Peter Kelly of Clearlake, and Jennifer Kelly and her two daughters Elizabeth and Morgan of Sedro-Woolley. He also leaves behind his father Peter Kelly and step-mother Sherry of Sedro-Woolley; brothers Randy Kelly of Clear Lake, Joe Kelly of Sedro-Woolley, Gary Gisson and wife Robin of Pacific, WA; and a step-sister Emily Brower and three step-brothers Larry Brower, Randy Bliss, and Keith Bliss of Sedro-Woolley.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Gilda Padden.

Mark will be remembered dearly and greatly missed by his family and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sedro-Woolley Eagles, Saturday, October 29th at 2pm.

I'm so sorry to hear Mark passed away we went to School together from the start in Clear Lake on up in School he was a very nice and kind guy he will be missed by all.

I'm shocked to hear of Marks Passing. He was a great guy who gave his time, energy and heart to the Clear Lake Community. I had the privileged of working with him and Jennifer as a volunteer on the Clear Lake Fire Department. Great memories. Mark will be missed by many.
