Sorry to hear of Marys passing. I visited at Medical Lake and she showed me around. Of course, we played basketball and Field Hockey at Skagit together. You will be missed Mary.

Gone to soon. My son, Connor and I were so fortunate to have been blessed with the most kind, thoughtful, and caring neighbors. Mary and Nancy a magnificent and beautiful duo. I moved next door in 1986 and my son, Connor was born in 1989. There was always a comfort in knowing we had a good "watch-out" for each other and our piece of the neighborhood was the best. Connor built quite the bond with, "his ladies" as he often called them. Connor would love to visit Mary and Nancy and their fur babies. He would come home and tell me about his visits, i.e. how he enjoyed watching the opera on PBS, etc. It has been some time ago and I do not remember when the tradition started, but every year Connor and I would gift "his ladies" flowers at Christmas time and Connor's ladies would gift to us delicious homemade baked goods and a large container of Chex mix. Even after Connor moved away from home both he (and I) always looked forward to receiving those holiday treats. I recently moved from the neighborhood, and it was difficult for me to share with Mary of my decision to move as I would miss having her as my neighbor. Grief would not hurt so much if the person was not loved so much. Please accept our deepest condolences. Sending out positive thoughts and prayers.
