ROBERT THRAMER Obituary

Robert R. Thramer passed away July 14, 2010.

He was born November 10, 1938 in Ewing, Nebraska. As a young child he and his family moved to the Burlington, Washington area. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1956.

Bob worked in the construction industry his entire career as a laborer and equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting and camping. He was very creative and loved tinkering in his shop.

He and his wife Gladys, daughter Carissa and loyal dog Claire moved to Newport in 1995.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years; sons, Rob (and Karen), Ron (and Debbie); daughters, Ren'ee (and Brian), and Carissa (and Scott); his sisters, Yuteva "Teke" Cole, Pat Carter, Donna Scerbik; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; extended family; and also his best friend, Jerry Fikka.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William and Opha Thramer; daughter, Rebecca; sisters, Jean Fields and Bonnie Hyatt; and brother, William Thramer.

He was well loved and his ingenuity, HUMOR, and character will be dearly missed by all who knew him. There will be a private family gathering announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane, P.O. Box 808, Chewelah, WA 99109.
