RONALD WISE Obituary

Ronald Lloyd Wise, age 66, of Sedro-Woolley, died March 11, 2008 at Skagit Valley Hospital.

He was born Jan. 1, 1942, in Sedro-Woolley, to Frank and Dora (Chapel) Wise, growing up in Sedro-Woolley, and graduating in 1960, living in Skagit Valley his whole life.

He was a great son, brother and true and loyal friend. Ron loved to bowl, and was a pin setter at the Sedro-Woolley Bowling Alley in his youth.

Prior to graduating, he worked at Cascade Food, and continued on until 1982 when they closed, and then worked at Terminal Freezer Inc., until retirement.

Ron loved to fish, to crab, classic cars, and helping friends in need.

Ron is survived by his mother and father, Dora and Frank; sister Camille and husband Richard Shelby, of Edmonds, WA; daughter Veronica Spaulding, of Mill Creek, WA; grandson Justin, granddaughters Ashley and Kayla; Uncle Bob and Barb Wise, of Phoenix, AZ; aunt Gertrude Wise of Sedro-Woolley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

Ron worked in the Teamsters Union his whole life as a fork lift driver. Ron loved to play cards with friends, and in his later years, loved to be in Burnaby, B.C. with his friend Wendy and her daughter Amanda Dobson.

The family would like to thank all those who helped in Ron's care at Skagit Valley Hospital. It will be a different world without our friend Ron.

At Ron's request, there will be no services.

Memorials may be made to Skagit Hospice Foundation, PO Box 1376, Mount Vernon, WA 98273, www.skagithospicefoundation.com.

Ron, One of my best friends for 30 years. I miss you, buddy. We fished, we crabed, we played cards, we cruised in your Corvette. We drank a ton of coffee together, and ate alot of buffets. Ron taught me a whole lot about life, honesty, and loyality.
