Stanley Frey Obituary
He was the devoted husband of Marilyn Gresli Frey, his soulmate for 68 beautiful years. Their marriage was a true testament to enduring love, filled with laughter, shared adventures, and joyful moments.
Stan is survived by his siblings-David, Bill, and Karen-and his four beloved children: Larry, Rick, Steve, and Patti, along with seven grandchildren. He also leaves behind countless friends and a legacy of generosity that inspired many.
A proud graduate of Bellevue High School and the University of Washington, Stan founded Coronet Homes, a residential building company that showcased his hard work and creativity.
At 18, he won the Redmond Bike Derby on a borrowed bicycle-a story he loved to share. His passion for storytelling and warm nature endeared him to all.
An adventurer at heart, he found joy in bird hunting, snow skiing, sailing, and traveling. One of his proudest moments was completing a 50-mile backpacking trip with his young children, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Deeply committed to his community, he actively participated in the Redmond Historical Society, local churches, Shelter Bay Yacht Club, Master Builders Association, Sunrise Food Bank, and Gyro, an international friendship club.
Through all his pursuits, Stan touched countless lives with his vibrant spirit and zest for life. His greatest joy came from dancing with Marilyn, sailing, and spending time with family and friends.
He will be remembered not just for his accomplishments, but for the love and joy he brought to the world. Stan taught us to embrace life fully and cherish each moment.
A celebration of his life will be held this summer.
Rest in peace, Stanley. You will be forever missed and cherished.
