Robert Mallory Obituary

Robert "Bob" Mallory, 54, of 304 Pine St., Kane, passed away Monday, July 14th of a sudden illness at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born May 16, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Bob leaves behind "The Love of His Life", Michele (Shrubb) Mallory. They had been married for 30 years. Bob had proposed to Michele just 4 days after meeting her. They were married on May 13, 1995 in Winter Haven, FL. Bob was "The Love of Her Life" and Michele's very best friend.

Bob is survived by his loving Parents, William and Connie (Fox) Mallory of Wooler, Ontario; his sister Tracy (Dave) Empringham, niece Elisha and nephew Matthew; his brother Michael (Carolyn) Mallory, niece Keira and nephews Aiden and Dean all of Toronto, Ontario. In addition, Paternal Grandmother Glenelda Pierce, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bob is survived by his loving Father in Law and Mother in Law, Thomas and Dawn Marie (Kribbs) Shrubb; brother in laws Michael S. (Kathy Rook) Shrubb; Jeffrey (Mandy) Shrubb; nephews Michael T. (Angela) Shrubb; Thomas Shrubb and Lane Zimmerman; nieces Abby Shrubb and Anna Shrubb; great nephews Watson Newton and Parker Shrubb; and great niece Neaveh Zimmerman.

Bob worked for his friend Jerry Milliron, owner of Get Rid Of It Dumpsters, Milliron Construction, Roofing & Landscaping and RotoRooter for the 5 years he lived in Kane.

Bob was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kane. He was more than a member, he was part of a worldwide brotherhood. He made many close friends over the years. He always had time for his friends and was always available to lend a hand. The one person Bob was always available for was his mom; Bob called his mom every single day.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bob was a student of God's Word The Bible. He believed what he learned from his study of Jehovah God's inspired writings (Psalms 83:18). He confidently believed the words inspired by John at Revelation 21:4 that says "death will be no more". Bob actively spoke of Jehovah God's promise of life forever on a Paradise earth.

Before Bob passed, Michele told Bob where she would be waiting for him when Jesus brings him back to life, as brought out in John 5:28,29: "for the hour in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus' voice and come out to a resurrection of life". Michele will be there waiting for "The Love of Her Life" with her arms wide open to give him the warmest embrace and kiss him once again! What a wonderful day that will be!

I've known Michelle since we were kids, and we became good friends when they moved back to Kane. My heart is heavy with the loss of my dear friend. We'll miss our game nights, dinners, and just hanging out. I can't wait to see him again. He will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. John 15:28,29 Proverbs 17:17
