Rose Boderocco Obituary
She was born June 12, 1927 in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Vincent and Elenora Calijurie Ferraro. She married Stanley Boderocco, he preceded her in death Nov. 26, 2006. She attended Ridgway Area schools and graduated in 1947. Over the years, Rose and Stan built a good life together, they would be the first ones to tell you that. They also rebuilt a couple of houses together. Reading, needlework, baking and conversation were things that Rose also enjoyed.
She is survived by two daughters, Lois Raubenstrauch and Henrietta (Rita) Burnett; two grandchildren; a sister, Mary Addeo; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, John and Frank Ferraro; and by two sisters, Josephine Corrado and Elizabeth Ferraro.
Funeral services for Rose L. Boderocco will be held Wednesday, July 6 at 11 a.m. in the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home, 130 Center St., Ridgway. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
