Victor G. Dominelli

1913 - 2017

Victor G. Dominelli, 103, of 7463 W. Seminole St., Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Johnsonburg, died Sunday morning, April 30, 2017.
He was born Oct. 24, 1913 in Clermont, son of the late Sam and Maria Francesca Dominelli.
He married Florence Berczynski on Oct. 22, 1939, she preceded him in death June 6, 1998.
Victor resided in Chicago since 1945 and had worked for Monumental Life Insurance for 14 years and he had worked for Time-Warner Communications for 19 years before retiring in 1984.
He is survived by four children, Richard Dominelli and his wife Deborah of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Anita Kepley of Elmwood Park, Illinois, Thomas Dominelli and his wife Ajsa of Okatie, South Carolina and Victor J. Dominelli of San Diego, California; his grandchildren, Frank and his wife Christal, Michael and his wife Cheri, Samantha, Cindy and her husband Joe, Jennifer, Florence, Paul, Andy and Danny; his great-grandchildren, Christina and her husband Anthony, Gina and her husband Alex, Michael, Colleen, Tiffani, Joey, James, Tyler, Danny Jr. and Cecelia; his great-great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Ethan, Vito and Carmen; and a sister, Frances and her husband Joe.
In addition to his parents and wife Florence, he was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald and David Dominelli.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Victor G. Dominelli will be conducted Saturday, May 6 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Chicago. Friends and family are invited to attend a committal service for Victor G. Dominelli to be conducted at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg, on Monday, May 8 at 11 a.m.
Local arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
Visitation in Chicago will be Friday, May 5 from 4-9 p.m. at the Galewood Funeral Home, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago, Illinois.
