Michael Horstkamp Obituary
Michael was an interior decorator working on residential and commercial projects for 25 years. In the past six years, Michael also was a licensed real estate settlement agent. Michael was a man of faith and an accomplished pianist who enjoyed sharing his talents as a member of St. Anthony's choir for 13 years.
Michael is survived by Michael Parrish, his loving partner of 24 years. His brothers, Thomas and James Horstkamp, and their wives Sue and Kathy. Also surviving are nieces: Beth Fricke, Karen Isailovic, Tracy Hahn; nephews: Boe and James Horstkamp; 13 great-nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Friday, June 30 from 6-9 p.m. at Rausch Funeral Home, Owings. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Saturday, July 1 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Calvert Hospice.

Michael and I met when he was living in San Diego but we met in LA during the Pride Festivities. MIchael and I became friends I also had the pleasure of meeting Michael Parish on a subsequent visit to Ocean City Maryland after he returned to the East Coast. Michael was a great friend to me even though we didn't communicate that often. My friend Greg E and Michael's partner Michael Parish had some fun times when we got together, mostly enjoying food and drink and meeting their friends in North Beach, MD. I miss you Michael. Words cannot express how grateful I am to both Michaels for their kindness and availability to help those in need. I also have many fond memories of some wild and crazy times in DC and at the Bay. Sending much love to Michael and the family.

Michael thank you for all the good you have done, You and Michael showed a ton of love and generosity to my family when my Mom was losing her battle with cancer, The love you showed made an impression on me as a young boy and I thank you.
