Samuel McIntosh Obituary
August 4, 1936 - January 5, 2025
Samuel C. McIntosh was born on August 4, 1936, in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from MIT with a double major and went on to Stanford where he received his PhD in aeronautics specializing in structures and flutter. After working at a small private company he started his own consulting business in aeronautical engineering primarily working with small private company jets, which he dearly loved. Besides piloting his small airplane he loved wines, chocolates and classical music. He is survived by his wife Beatrice McIntosh, his daughter Carey McIntosh from his first marriage and his brother William "Tosh" McIntosh, also a pilot. He is also mourned by his son-in-law Eddie and his grandchildren Eirwyn and Marion. Donations would be appreciated to FISH (Friends in Sonoma Helping) and The Salvation Army. Services will be private.
