Vernon Passini Obituary
December 31, 1974 - May 27, 2024
Vernon Isaac Passini, age 49, was welcomed into heaven May 27th, 2024 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Vernon was born on December 31st, 1974, in San Jose, California. His Parents Dimas and Darlene Llanos moved to Sonoma to raise their family in 1982. Vernon was a 1993 graduate of Sonoma Valley High School. He had a great love of both baseball, football, and played wide receiver for the Sonoma Dragons. Vern went on to coach Babe Ruth baseball for several years. It was a normal Friday night to see Vernon down on the football field assisting Coach Midgley with the Junior Varsity football team. He was a faithful Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, Oakland A's, and Los Angeles Lakers fan.
Vern worked as Director of Sales - West Coast for Sonsray Fleet Services for more than 20 years. He displayed wonderful problem solving skills, broke multiple sales records, humbly received many awards, had expedient customer service, and was an excellent colleague and friend. He was outgoing and loved to spend as much time as possible with his friends and family. Vernon always had the ability to make anyone smile and feel as though they were his first priority.
On September 10th, 2017 Vernon married Amy Passini in Fairfield, California. He is survived by his wife Amy, two daughters Elyssa and Kiera, his siblings Gerardo, Ruben, Angela, Damian and wife Renee, Anabel and husband Jules as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Vernon was the most kind and generous soul who loved the Lord with all his heart. He was always there to encourage and support his family and friends every step of the way. We have truly suffered a great loss but heaven has gained an amazing angel. We can't wait until the day we get to see his smiling face again when we reach those beautiful pearly gates and he is there to welcome us home!
Family and friends are invited to an alcohol-free memorial reception Friday June 28th, 2024, 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Joseph A Nelson Community Center, 611 Village Drive, Suisun City, CA 94585 to memorialize and honor.
