Ronald McKay Obituary
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his children: Tracy (Jerry) Carter, Cam (Paula) McKay, April (Jack) Houghton, and Brenda McKay. His grandchildren: Ryan, Justin, Gabrielle, Joshua, Jessica, Nicole, Austin (Elana), Cassidy, and Reichen, and great-grandchild, Emersynn. He is also survived by siblings: Shauna Britz of Satellite Beach, FL, Linda (Mike) Doyle of Cave Creek, AZ, Robert McKay of Sugar Island, Jim McKay (Brenda) of Lapeer, and sister-in- law Nancy McKay of Sault Ste. Marie.
Ron is preceded in death by his father John Mckay, mother Tarcil McKay-Gervais, stepfather Roger Gervais, wife Joyce McKay, brother John "Jack" McKay, grandson Jeremy Carter, and brother-in-law Bill Britz.
He grew up in the Upper Peninsula, served in the United States Marine Corps, helped construct the Mackinac Bridge, and worked for 23 years as a manufacturing engineer for Steelcase. He graduated from Michigan State University and was a passionate Spartan fan.
Ron was a very generous man, with a deep love for family, and a great zest for life.
In July, there will be a celebration of life in remembrance of Ron in Brimley with a mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in Barbeau. The date is to be determined.

Uncle Ron will be missed by so many. We will wear our sparty gear proud for him, im sure now he has unlimited MSU games to watch and is very thrilled.
