Ronald Stevens Obituary
Ron married Sharron Gist on June 17, 1961 and together they had four children: Ronda (Jeff) Behling, Kelly (Paul) Baldwin, LeAnn (Larry) Vert, and Randall (Jodi) Stevens; 10 grandchildren: Andy (Steph) Behling, Nicholas (Marklyn) Behling, Travis Behling, Jenna Baldwin, Andrea Baldwin, Alex Baldwin, Brittney Vert, Danielle Vert, Carson Stevens, and Landon Stevens; and two great-grandchildren: Kade and Sadie Behling.
Ron was preceded in death by a daughter: LeAnn Vert; and two brothers: Jim and Tom Stevens.
Ron was a great family man, who loved all of his family dearly. He was so proud of each of their accomplishments. He had the gift of making everyone he met feel special. He leaves behind many wonderful friends.
Ron was a member of the First Church of Christ and a devoted Christian. He was baptized on December 10, 1994. He retired after working for 40 years managing a grocer wholesale business in Sault Ste. Marie. He will be dearly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the First Church of Christ with Pastor Tom Cash officiating. Friends may gather at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the First Church of Christ or Hospice of the EUP. C.S. Mulder Funeral Home and Cremation Services assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.csmulder.com

On behalf of myself, my father Roy, my uncle Win we cannot tell you how sorry we are for your loss. Mr Stevens was the best. I was just a young kid working in the warehouses and he was just a great man.
My father is sad today, Ron was a key part of our business and we have so many great memories.
Thanks to Dave for contacting us. Our company was a family and we wont forget each and everyone who made it possible.
Ron was one of the best. Thank you for sharing his life with us.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Ron for many years both at Schiller Inc. and Heartland Distributors. He always had the ability to make you smile and make you feel that you were important to him.
He had a gift and was truly a special person.

Always loved talking to Ron about candy and snack promotions when I was at Schillers Cadillac. He was so proud of his house and looking at the ships go by. I was blessed to call Ron a friend.
