MICHIGAN CITY - Amelia I. Frost, 95, Richmond, VA. formerly of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. in The Crossings at University Park, Richmond, VA.

Private family services were held and burial took place in Cedar Grove Cemetery on the campus of University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born July 9, 1921 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Andrew S. and Pearl W. (Kubiak) Dominick. On September 2, 1944 in Notre Dame, IN she married Robert J. Frost, M.D. who preceded her on March 13, 2015.

Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (Mark) Mochary of Richmond, VA; son, Robert J. Frost of Coos Bay, OR; 4 grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis Guenther of Phoenix, AZ.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Pickering and Madeline Nowinski.

Amelia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Anthony Hospital Guild and was active in the Michigan City Women's Golf League.

I'll always remember the visits, moments of prayer, and laughter we shared. She was a good friend and will always be missed. I extend my prayers and sympathy to Patty, Bob and their families.
