Andrew Griffin Obituary
SOUTH BEND - Andrew Griffin, 31, departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2009. He was born April 2, 1977, in South Bend, Indiana, to Waffer Morton and Sylvester Griffin. Andrew was a life long resident of South Bend and although quiet, he was well known. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Waffer Morton and Sylvester (Barbara Ann) Griffin; a son, Elijah Griffin; brothers, Anthony and Sylvester Griffin; stepbrother, Jerry Butler; sisters, Tamara Griffin and Shae Culp; stepsisters, Yolanda and Deidia Butler and Maraka Ola; grandmothers, Patty Fuller and Minnie Wallace; aunts, Johnnie Mae and Melony Wallace, Mary Brown and Jackie Harper; uncles, Charles (Nalo) Morton, Claudis Morton, Billy Hendrix and Anthony Irons; a special friend, Kenya Ellis, along with a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Morton; great-grandmother, Annette Brownlee; great-aunts, Marsha Irons and Stella Irons; an uncle, Robert Irons; and a cousin, James Martin. Funeral services for Andrew Griffin will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, in Alford's Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be e-mailed to [email protected] c/o Griffin Family.

To the family, I am sorry for your lost. I went to school with Andrew. He was one of the sweetest, caring and queitest, anyone would love to have met.He will truely be missed.
