MISHAWAKA, IN - Benjamin T. Harper, 65, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on November 2, 2018 at Sprenger Health and Rehabilitation in Mishawaka after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in South Bend on October 17, 1953. He graduated high school in 1972 and joined the Army. Ben proudly retired from the Indiana National Guard after 22 years of service. He enjoyed watching DVDs, listening to a wide variety of music, and mixing it up in the garden with assorted trees, flowers, and vegetables. He loved the outdoors and hanging out with friends. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Harper; sister, Ruth; brother, John; and nephew, Brian. Funeral Services for Ben will take place at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:30pm. Friends will be received one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the Funeral Chapel.
