Brayden Apple Obituary

April 4, 2006 - April 18, 2009
SOUTH BEND - Brayden Scott Apple, 3, died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 5:25 p.m. at Memorial Hospital. He was born April 4, 2006 in South Bend, the son of Leroy D. Apple II and Erika LeFrancois. Our little Brayden was the best little guy anyone could ask for. He could make anyone smile or laugh just by walking in the room. Ever since the day he was born, he had a smile on his face. He loved to cuddle and give kisses and was his sister's best friend. He was our curious lil guy who wanted to get his hands on everything he could. He loved to dance and help Mommy cook and give his baby sister her bottles. He will be greatly missed by anyone who ever knew him... But God needed our little angel for a reason, so now he's in heaven making all the other angels smile and laugh. We will all miss and love you forever our lil butt-butt. Besides his parents, he is also survived by his two sisters, Addison Leigh Apple, Cloey Lin Apple, his brother, Leroy D. Apple III; maternal grandmother, Shelly Brantley; paternal grandparents, Leroy Apple I, Christina J. Apple; paternal great-grandparents, Edith I. Apple and Lola Belle & Vernon Ray Buzzard; and maternal great-grandfather, Richard Fann. Also surviving are aunts, Tamara Renee Apple, Brenna LeFrancois; uncles, Vernon Scott Apple, Dakota LeFrancois; and great-aunt Alicia Williams, and great-uncle, Tony Fann. He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother, Linda Fann, paternal great grandfather Charles Apple Sr. and an aunt, Christy Leigh Apple. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Graylon Watson will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday. Memorial donations may be made to the Brayden Apple memorial fund c/o any Wells Fargo Bank. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com. I Am Not Afraid I know this seems so unfair, I was just a baby and not aware. I was just beginning my life, And I paid a very high price. But don't be afraid to let me go, Because I was not afraid to leave. Do not cry for me, I am safe... Do not cry for me, I am not alone... Do not cry for me, I am an angel... Spread your wings little baby, fly away, Not one word will you say. We will protect you while you sleep. So small, so cute, so innocent and meek! - By Jacquies Harrison

If it rains on the day of the funeral, it is said that the heavens are weeping. There is a renewal of life forces. It is good luck for the deceased. The deceased is happy and also there is a comforting for the bereaved family. The comfort is knowing that this young boy had a purpose commanded by God and has been called home. God works in mysterious ways that we have yet to understand. May God bless this young boy and his family.

You don't know me but, I was checking the paper online today and came acrossed this little boys obituary and it reminded me of when I lost my Grandson almost a year ago who was only 3 weeks old. As my heart aches for you, I pray for each of you and I hold you each dear to my heart and I pray that the pain you are feeling now is eased in some way knowing that your son is in Heaven with God. May his light always shine upon you! God Bless you!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
