Christian Holderbaum Obituary

NORTH LIBERTY - Christian T. Holderbaum, 41, of North Liberty, IN, passed away Saturday afternoon, Jan. 13, at Potato Creek State Park. He presently worked for Michiana Lawn Service and was also a mechanic in several capacities. He was born December 4, 1965, in Union, South Carolina, and had lived in this area most of his life. On June 28, 1997, in North Liberty, he married Tammy (Stull) Holderbaum, who survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Jami Holderbaum at home; his parents, Carol (Klinger) Holderbaum of North Liberty and Larry Holderbaum of Walkerton; stepson, Brandon (Tracie) Patrick of Walkerton; two step-grandchildren, Austin and Ryder Patrick; and four brothers, Michael and Brian Holderbaum of North Liberty, Jon Holderbaum of Lakeville and Greg (Elaine) Holderbaum of Rossville, IN. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 South Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Friends called from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and may also call one hour prior to services today in the funeral home. Chris attended John Glenn High School and loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing numerous motorized lawn and garden and other outside toys. Contributions in memory of Christian may be made to Ronald McDonald Family Room at Memorial Hospital, 615 N. Michigan St., South Bend; or to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc., 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
