Dale Timmons

Dale Timmons June 24, 1975 - April 16, 2014 BUCHANAN - Russell 'Dale' Timmons passed away on April 16, 2014, in his Buchanan home. Dale was born on June 24, 1975. He was predeceased by his parents, Ron and Lynn Timmons, and his daughter, Samantha Kay Lynn Timmons. He is survived by his loving fianc‚e, Cheri Marshall, and two children, Orion Dale Timmons of Niles, MI, and Russell Dale Timmons Jr. of Buchanan, MI. Also surviving are his uncle and aunt, Rob and Connee Canfield of Decatur, MI; great-aunt, Harriet Thomas of Dowagiac, MI; along with numerous cousins. Dale was a graduate of the Brandywine School District and attended classes at Southwestern Michigan College. He worked as a trucker in addition to other part-time jobs. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on trucks. He was noted for his open personality and ability to attract many friends with his big boyish grin. He loved his boys dearly and will be missed by all his family and friends. Services celebrating Dale's life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, Michigan.
