Daniel Yoder Obituary

MADISON - Daniel M. Yoder, 68, of Madison, Indiana, died on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at his son's home in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family. His incredible sense of humor kept the entire family laughing until the very end. He was born on September 26, 1942, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the son of Moses and Barbara Yoder. He enjoyed many years as preacher of the Madison Mennonite Fellowship Church. He valued the time spent with his family more than anything. Daniel is survived by his sons and their wives, Glendon and Deb Yoder, LeLand and Sharon Yoder, Lyle and Debbie Yoder, Jason and Jacklynn Yoder; brothers, Moses Yoder Jr., Ray Yoder and John Yoder; sisters, Anna Miller and Mary Ellen Geigley; 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise, his father, and a great-granddaughter. Viewing will be held in Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main Street, Middlebury, Indiana, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Memorial service will be held in Fair Haven Amish Mennonite Church, 13513 State Road 4, Goshen, Indiana, on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following the memorial service at Townline Cemetery, 2165 S. 1000 W., Shipshewana, Indiana.
