Dear Tom, Linda & Linda
I want to thank you for allowing me to take part in Doris's last days. She was a very dear friend to me, who always offered humor to my life. My days of sitting with her discussing the daily , past & current events, will always have a special place in my heart & mind. She was so very proud of her children, even if she didn't know "hell Lori, I don't know what he's doing!" She always had encouraging & positive words / thoughts for everyone, even if "they're crazy!". My words to Doris were. "I love you & when I grow up I want to be just like you." Ahe had a wonderful fulfilling life that she shared with many. Doris you are at peace, with the love of your life & I'm sure, not missing a thing as you watch over us. Again I thank the 3 of you for openning up your hearts & sharing her. Always, Lori

I am so sorry for your loss. My fondest memorys of you mother were from 25 years ago when she and your dad would come to listen and dance to my music at the Elks and Vet's club. She was always positive and would say something that made you laugh out loud. We will all miss Doris. Take Care , Craig Mathey

Your mother was an AMAZING woman. I’ll never forget the many laughs she gave us, nor will I forget her hospitality. She was awesome.

Lisa and I send along our condolences. We’ll have a toast to Doris tonight…

Sorry to hear about Doris. She was one of a kind and visiting with her over the years was one of the many fringe benefits of being your friend. I know you miss her and so do I.

Doris was truly a Sycamore icon. All of my memories leave smiles I did depend on those in depth gossip sessions that brought me up to speed (even about my own family) before setting out to face the regular crew uptown. Please send my regards to ALL family and friends....R
