Edmond Arsenault Obituary

July 3, 1927 - March 12, 2013
SOUTH BEND - Edmond H. Arsenault, 85, residing in South Bend, passed away at 2:43 am Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Memorial Hospital. He was born in South Bend on July 3, 1927, to the late Edmond H. and Annabelle (Matesick) Arsenault, and remained a lifelong area resident. On September 22, 1990, in South Bend, Edmond married the former Ruth M. Bashore, who survives. In addition to his loving wife, Ruth of South Bend, he is survived by sons, Kevin (Karen) Miller of South Bend and Michael R. (Beverly) Miller of Kentucky; six grandchildren, Kevin Coppins of Hawaii, Kami, Kori and Kari Miller, all of South Bend, Michael Miller of Bend, OR, and Tamara Anderson of Puyallup, WA; two great-grandchildren, Emmersyn and Riley; and one brother, Frank A. Arsenault of Melbourne, FL. Edmond was an account executive with Business Systems, Inc. prior to retiring in 2000. He was a member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church and Moose Lodge #58. Funeral services for Edmond will be 12 noon on Friday, March 15, 2013, in Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, 114 N. Ironwood Drive, South Bend, IN 46615. Graveside services and burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am - 12 noon on Friday in the church prior to services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Edmond may be donated to Evangel Heights United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be left for the Arsenault family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.

Ed was a great part of my life! He will greatly be missed! He was a wonderful step father who was always there for us! No matter where life lead us differently , he was always in my heart, and will be..!. (MY step father!) thank you for being so wonderful!

I was lucky enough to work with Ed at Business Systems. Ed was a very hard working man and and had a smile that could warm your heart. He could make me laugh and he always new when something was wrong with me he would say it will work out. My prayers go out to him and his family. Rest in peace Eddie you deserve it...
