MISHAWAKA - Edward J. "Jeffrey" Fadden III, 52, of Mishawaka, died unexpectedly at 5:30 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2008, in his residence. Jeffrey was born February 15, 1956, in Cincinnati, OH, to Edward and Ila (Book) Fadden II. Jeffrey is survived by his mother and father, Edward and Ila Fadden II of Granger, IN; one daughter, Ila Christine Fadden of Granger; a sister, Valli (Steven) Carpenter of Granger; a brother, Steven (Paula) Fadden of Mishawaka; two nieces, Kayla Carpenter of Granger and Kaitlynn Fadden of Mishawaka; and two nephews, Jared Fadden of Chicago, IL, and Jacob Fadden of Mishawaka. Memorial services for Jeffrey will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka, where friends may call for one hour prior to services. The Rev. Erv Mize will officiate. Jeffrey was a member of the local painters union for 25 years and had worked for Woodcox Construction for five years. He also loved to fish, play golf and spend time with his family. He was also a fan of Notre Dame sports. Contributions in memory of Jeffrey may be made to the family for his daughter's education fund.
