You were the greatest music teacher I ever had. You were excited to teach the students and showed your passion clearly. I remember everything you taught at Horace Mann! You are resting near my family in Weehawken Cemetary, I will visit often! I'm sorry I was such a brat in school, it wasn't until I became an adult that I realized how important YOU were! Respect and prayers, Jeanine.B.

Although my classmates and I no doubt tried his patience, Mr. Menzer remained enthusiastic and friendly. For many of us who attended Horace Mann, he was the one who introduced us to classical music. For that I'll always be grateful to this good man.

Mr. Menzer,

A “good life” is measured by what you give back to your community. And you sir gave so much! You had the gift of music and you shared it with the world. More particularly, you shared it with kids. Life in its fullest doesn't get any better than that! What a tremendous service you performed for the Horace Mann student body. Anyone who had you as a teacher will never forget you. We were blessed to have you.

Thanks for sharing your greatness and thanks for teaching the children to sing.

May GOD rest your soul in Heaven.
