All my memories of Frank make me smile. I really enjoyed my time with him. He was a strong, calming influence on his fellow deputies. In 1981, Frank and I worked on a major fugitive case that brought us to Portland, Oregon for several weeks. We became close during that time. We stayed in touch after that and every time I went to the USMS academy, I would always contact Frank to say hello. It is men like Frank who have made this country so great. He served in the military and law eforcement with honor, integrity and courage. I will miss him

Frank was a great guy i remember teasing him of getting hit on the forehead and landing with his back of his head on the canvas which of course explained the bald spot on the back of his head. He got hit so many times up front that he landed on his back hitting his head wearing out the hair on the back of his head on the canvas. It was funnier then at the U.S. Marshals training academy where I met Frank the gentle man I knew so well, a great man who will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved by many.
