God knew when he graced us with his presence how special he was. God knew how many lives he would touch. God also knew he was only giving him to us for a short time. Dan and Paw Paw's greatest joy was his family. With tearful eyes, we watched you fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, a beautiful smile at rest, God broke our hearts to prove He only take the best. Dad, paw paw, when days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong, we seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up and carry on" I'm in God's keeping, we'll meet again some day. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. today, March 27, in Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary where bereavement messages may be sent to [email protected], c/o the Riley family.
