Greg, Wow so you are now with the Lord, Say Hi to my Dad for me. He really liked you and enjoyed the times you came to Washington, Georgia to learn the Gonstead Technique. He was so glad to see another student pick Gonstead as their Chiropractic Technique. You blessed us by attending our wedding and I witnessed the first horse adjustment with you. Greg my only regret is not keeping up with you all these years. I will see you again my friend. I am honored to have graduated in the same class of 1982 at Life Chiropractic College. You will be missed by many.

Sincerely,
Dr. Phillip Barnwell

I have been a patient of Dr. Curtis since 2007 and feel as though I have lost a member of my family. His passing was a huge shock. He and his office staff always made me feel welcome and at home. His great expertise has helped me so much and he is and will continue to be tremendously missed! His cheery greetings each visit, his kindness, his caring words, warm smile, and healing hands set him apart. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the office staff that worked with him on a daily basis.

Greg was one of my best friends. We have been friends since we met in 1979 at Life University. Our birthdays are on the same day, so while in school together, we'd celebrate together. after graduation, we'd always speak on our birthdays, trying to see who could call first thing in the morning. Sometimes Greg would call at 6 AM and sometimes at midnight. Greg even brought his new motorcycle to Colorado on a vacation. We spoke somewhat frequently about our trials and tribulations over the past 32 years. I just found out today and wished I could change the past. I loved Greg and will miss him. Heaven has just gained a good chiropractor!

No words can truly convey the heartfelt feelings and sorrow that are felt at such a time as this. I am so saddened to hear of the death of not only a great doctor but a very caring man. When my daughter was a baby she began having seizures. I was a patient already and also cleaned the office for Dr. Curtis in the early years that his clinic was open. He would work on Jessica at no charge because he wanted so badly to help her. He was one of kindest and caring men I know. My heart and prayers go out to his loved ones.

Dr. Curtis was a dear family friend who helped me in and out of his office. In 1993 I suffered a severe injury to my back while playing basketball in college. He was able to bring me back to a point of health. Outside the office he was a virtual family member supporting all graduations and family gatherings. This wouldn't be so outstanding except my family is black. I recently received a text from him with a picture of my mom on his Harley. He was a giving man who shared all that he had. I will always be grateful to him for his care as a physician and his friendship. He will be missed greatly.

We had met Greg back in 2000. My husband had to literally be carried into his office. Oh what a man Greg was. He had him up and walking on his own in 2 days! His hands were of a healing power. What an angel he was. He will be missed a great deal. Just talked to him June 4th about some landsaping he was wanting to get done. Never seen him angry about anything. He was alway's so happy and positive about everything. Your dog will be waiting for you Greg. May you rest in peace.

One of the really nicest guys you could encounter. Always pleasant and with a smile! I met him in high school and consider him a friend although we never saw each other much. When we did cross paths it was always a lift to my spirit. We lost a good one.

How sad to hear such a lovely man that portrayed to the world happiness and joy, who appeared to embrace life and friendships, is no longer with us. Over the years, his (seemingly) effortless smile, laughter and caring actions always had a way of making people feel special and important. His calling as a doctor seemed appropriate; he loved to make others feel better.
It is tragic and heartbreakingly sad to know that as we went about our day to day lives, living in our own little bubble, that this incredible man was successfully masking his true feelings of unhappiness from the world. May Greg’s passing and our memories of him not be forgotten but to enrich our lives, become aware of those around us, and to help make us better for knowing him.
This wonderful man will truly be missed and it was a pleasure to have had him as a friend.

My dear Greg,
"With you a part of me hath passed away;
For in the peopled forest of my mind
A tree made leafless by this wintry wind
Shall never don again its green array.
Chapel and fireside, country road and bay,
Have something of their friendliness resigned;
Another, if I would, I could not find,
And I am grown much older in a day.
But yet I treasure in my memory
Your gift of charity, and young heart's ease,
And the dear honor of your amity;
For these once mine, my life is rich with these.
And I scarce know which part may greater be -
What I keep of you, or you rob from me."
Love, Joanie
