GRANGER - Mary Louise (Grabowski) Beach, 82, of Granger died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, July 12, in Dujarie House, Holy Cross Village, Notre Dame, IN, following an illness. Mary was born October 20, 1935 in South Bend to the late Mildred (Overmeyer) and Harold A. Grabowski and was a lifetime area resident. On June 13, 1953 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in South Bend, as Mary Louise Grabowski she married the love of her life, Gilbert Demoine Beach, who preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mildred (Grabowski) Schutt. She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Tisch of Humble, TX, Denise Yaggi (Robert) of Wabash, IN, and Deann Grabill (Joseph) of Mishawaka; two sons, David Beach (Claudia) of Rimpar, Germany and Douglas Beach of Granger; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Dale Grabowski (Lorraine) of Lewisville, TX.

Mary was a 1953 graduate of Washington Clay High School. She retired as the purchasing agent at Mastic Corporation in South Bend. She and Gilbert were charter members of Christ the King Lutheran Church, South Bend. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and spending that wonderful time with her large family. She was also in her glory in her garden and flower beds.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 17195 Cleveland Rd., South Bend with Rev. Loren Van Oort officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd.
