MISHAWAKA - Ronald L. Mikesell, 77, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in his residence.
Ron was born on January 16, 1940 in Mishawaka as the son of William and Dorothy (Hawthorne) Mikesell. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Patricia Wise; and one brother, Donald Mikesell.
On June 1, 1963 in El Monte, CA he married Adrienne M. Cross; she preceded him in death on July 15, 1996. On December 12, 1999, Ron married Beverley Moser; she survives along with children, Cynthia (Craig) Weyers of Granger, Ashley Kalka and Courtney Kalka both of Mishawaka, and Stephen Mikesell of La Grange, IN; and five grandchildren, Seth Mikesell, Nathan Kalka, Jarod Mikesell, Adrienne Weyers, and Aleigh Kalka.
Ron retired in 1986 after 20 years of service as a Mishawaka Police Officer. After retirement Ron was the General Manager of the Mishawaka Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #91 in Mishawaka for 15 years, retiring in 2008. Ron proudly served his country as a United States Marine and was a lifelong resident of Mishawaka. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, December 12th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka and one hour prior to the service at St. Pius the X Catholic Church, Granger. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with Monsignor William schooler officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, with Military Honors conducted by VFW 360 / American Legion 161, Mishawaka. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 230 W. Catalpa, Suite D, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was a customer of mine and bought several cars/trucks from us. I had dealings with him at the FOP also. His brother Don was a friend. RIP my friend. Prayers to the family.
