Ronald Rogers Obituary
MISHAWAKA - Ronald J. Rogers Sr., 71, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014. He was born November 27, 1942, in South Bend, IN, to John F. and Arloa (Hutton) Rogers. Ronald retired from Bayer after 20 years of service. On May 12, 1989, Ronald married Frances Barnes, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Evalou Rittenhouse of Vandalia, MI, Ronald J. Rogers Jr. of Walkerton, IN, Tina Rogers of Niles, MI, Sabrina Sheets of Orlando, FL, Tracy Rogers of Gainesboro, TN, and Heather (Christopher) Blunt of Winamac, IN; a granddaughter, Maxine Rogers, who he raised; a stepdaughter, Cynthia (Scott) Rugg of Middlebury, IN; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Johnneen (Richard) Mossell of South Bend, IN; and a sister-in-law, Gloria (Denny) Allen of New Carlisle, IN. A brother, Charles Rogers, preceded him in death. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
