I'm very sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I have many memories of him when we were young. Steve, my brother, Jay, and others let me hang around them as a younger tag-along. I will always remember him. When he was about 16 he swam out in the middle of the St. Joe River to check on a claim of a young child floating down the river on a makeshift raft to prevent a possible drowning. He was meant to be a lifesaver and public servant. Condolences to all of Steve's family and friends. I hope all of your memories of him are good ones.

We love having you guys as neighbors. Steve was always willing to lend me a helping hand. Steve and Deb even sawed down the fallen down trees in my front yard after a hurricane. Kind hearted soul. We will miss you. Red will miss you too.
