SOUTH BEND - South Bend - Timothy W. Fox, 62, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Memorial Hospital.

Tim was born July 24, 1954 in Galesburg, Illinois to Joseph and Viola (Mathers) Fox. Timothy was also preceded in death by his father Joseph Fox; and brothers, Stanley, Steve and Philip Fox.

Tim married Christine A. Fox on September 1, 1973, she survives along with his mother, Viola Fox; and daughter, Shannon (Ben) Lauer; granddaughters, Veronica and Daisy Lauer; brothers, Anthony, Christopher, Michael Fox.

Tim was a graduate of Long Beach Poly High School. He joined the Army in his senior year of high school. Tim was sent to Fort Benjamin Harris in Indianapolis and that is where he first met his wife to be at a roller skating function. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University of South Bend. Tim was employed with the Federal Mogul Corporation. Tim was a member of the United States Parachute Association and Restoration Gun Club. He enjoyed sky diving, playing golf, and riding roller coasters at Cedar Point. Tim enjoyed fishing with his wife. He was also a gun enthusiast and collector. Most of all, Tim enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation for Tim will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, May 7, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Service for Tim will take place at 1:00pm Monday, May 8, 2017 in the Funeral Home.
